Lately I have challenged myself – more than usual. I find it important to keep challenging yourself, not only to get better and explore your boundaries, but also to grow as a person so that you don’t let fear decide for you. So challenge yourself!
I am not suggesting to do everything at once, but I do suggest to – just once in a while – challenge yourself. It can be small things or big things – doesn’t matter. What matters is that it is a challenge for YOU.
Afraid of heights
I am afraid of heights – absolutely terrified, so climbing aloft on a tall ship and out on the yard arms or jumping out from a height of 3 meters is absolutely terrifying to me. But I can now say that I have done both of these things and what is better is that I have started to get more comfortable being up there. I still have days and moments where I have to stop for a second and gather enough courage to go up there – or at least to try. If I can’t do it, I can’t do it – but at least, I wanna give it a try. And every time, when I get down again, I am so happy that I actually did it – and that is a great feeling 🙂
Regards to being aloft, I feel like I am getting more and more comfy up there and I feel like I have expanded my horizon as well as my comfort zone.
